I hesitated to put this picture on here but I just thought there were some of you who didn't see him and don't understand what it is like. I think Chad will be ok with it because this picture doesn't look too bad. But, I'm sure Smith would rather have Bells Palsy right now. I am so sorry that Smith is going through this with his accident!

Bells Palsy
This photo may look like Chad is just doing one of his goofy faces but this is actually a documentaion of his Bells Palsy (I don't know how to spell it). Bells Palsy is when half of your facial muscles are completely paralized. We don't really know what causes it but it can last for several months. Chad cannot move the right side of his face. He can't blink his right eye, which causes dryness and irritation and eye watering. He cannot smile or eat well on that side and even has a runny nose on his right side. It's really kind of difficult for him. It's even noticable when he talks that he can't move his lips right. He can't pronounce some words correctly. It's been difficult for him.

Sorry Chad! Hopefully this will go away soon, and you can look back at that picture and laugh.
I think Chad needs some minerals
Sage, I talked to my sister, Kim, about it again because she had it and she told me that she cant remember exactly how many times a day she took the vitamin B Commplex, but she for sure remembered taking it every morning and night and that it went away after about ten days. She said that she has no signs of ever having it. I hope that he will find something to help and our prayers are with him and hope that this will be a short experience.
